After Miss Universe's Victory, Chidimma Adetshina Would Withdraw From Pageants.
Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Adetshina, has stated her intention to retire from beauty pageants following her historic performance in the 2024
Miss Universe competition.
In an exclusive interview with BBC Pidgin on Tuesday, Adetshina highlighted her delight in her accomplishment,
which she said exceeded her expectations.
Adetshina was crowned first runner-up in the worldwide pageant,
which took place on November 16 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City,
marking a new milestone for Nigeria on the international scene.
She is the first Nigerian and West African runner-up ever.
The 23-year-old, who competed against 125 other hopefuls, was also crowned
‘‘Miss Universe’’,
Africa and Oceania.
